OOFOS OOriginal Thong Review & Giveaway!

I want to start this review by explaining a little something about my feet.  I have one good foot and one bad foot.  I had foot surgery done to my left foot in December 2011.  The surgery was to remove a bunion, straighten out my big toe and overall help with pain.  The surgery did remove the bunion but I still have a crooked toe and more pain now than before the surgery.  I have been struggling since December 2011 to find a shoe/sandal/footwear that I could wear that didn't make my foot hurt worse.  The struggle of finding something to wear on my feet has been long and tiring but I am now a happy camper! 

One day while searching online for different types of footwear I ran across OOFOS!  When I went to OOFOS website this is what I read on their site:

 Just after reading those 2 short paragraphs I felt I needed to know more about OOfoam! At this point I can say I was very curious about these shoes/sandals.  They sounded amazing.  Actually they sounded like one of those to good too be true things.  So now I'm here writing this review for OOFOS!  Let me start by saying they are NOT to good to be true!  They are exactly what they say they are!  I have been completely amazed with my OOFOS OOriginal Thong. 

After my surgery the two biggest reasons I was having a hard time finding footwear was 1-Every shoe and sandal I tried did not have enough support 2- They all rubbed on my scar and that hurt really bad because I have issues with the nerves by my scar.   The day my OOFOS OOriginal Thong's showed up at my house you would have thought I was a little kid at Christmas time.  I tore open the box so fast. I snatched my OOFOS OOriginal Thong's out of the box and couldn't believe how flexible they felt just being in my hand.  I immediately got them out of the package and put them on my feet.  I was a little nervous that the strap was going to rub on my scar and hurt just like all the other sandals I had tried.  I was so wrong!  The strap was so lightweight and flexible that it comfortably lay over my scar with absolutely no pain!  I felt like I was in heaven!

I decided at this point I need to take my OOFOS OOriginal Thong's for a test walk.  I took a walk around the block.  My feet had absolutely no pain and I could not believe how well the OOfoam actually did absorb the impact.  It may sound cheesy but I felt like I was walking on air!

I have had my OOFOS for a while now and I love how easy they are to wash.  I have washed them in the washer but another great thing about them is they really do not need to be put in the washer because they wipe off so easily with a wash cloth!  OOFOS are an awesome product and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone I know!
