STOP IT!

This is how I feel today.  I need to STOP IT!  Stop all the excuses, Stop all the wining.... Just need to STOP IT!  I have defiantly hit a slump in my weight journey for about 3 weeks now.   I'm done slumming though!  I've had enough of this putting back on weight crap!  I am planning to go back to Weight Watchers this Friday to weigh in and see how much damage I have done over the last few weeks!

Last night I decided to throw my Tummy Tuck belt on and do my exercise for it!  Let me say felt good to do something right for my body again... So the question is why do I keep falling?  I'm not sure at this point but I bound and determined to figure it out so I will stop doing this!

I guess small steps is better than nothing.  I will be at Weight Watchers on Friday and I will be sure to update you all!  In the mean time I plan to start getting back on track!  I have my best friends wedding coming up and I want to make sure I fit in my dress and look great for her wedding!
This is me right now....

Zaggora Hot Pants Review & Giveaway!

I am so excited to share with all of you about my experience with Zaggora Hot Pants.  I was so excited to get to work with Zaggora on a review and giveaway.  I have been working at a weight loss journey and also trying to find products to help me in that journey!

Zaggora Hot Pants are awesome.  For those of you that don't know much about Zaggora they make products with a Celu-Lite Technology that harnesses the body's natural heat during exercise to help burn more calories!  Talk about an easy way to help you burn more calories during your workout.
I LOVE my Zaggora Hot Pants!  It's an amazing feeling to have a pair of pants in my home that I know are actually doing something for me.  That probably sounds funny but really they are the ONLY pants I have that do anything for me lol.
I use my Zaggora Hot Pants on a daily basis!  Since I am not a super star athlete I normally use the pants when going for walks or with my other work outs.  I have found that with me even wearing them while doing hard core house work that they work great!  Burn more calories while cleaning??  Yes please!  I am a stay at home mom and I don't have a ton of time to work out so whatever I can do to get a little extra from my work outs is a plus!
My weight journey still has a ways to go but it's going and for me that is all that matters!  I have been having so much fun with my weight journey.  I love all the different products I have came across to help with my journey.  Rather the product helps me burn more calories, helps me stay hydrated or makes my workouts fun!  Each and every product is an awesome help to my weight journey!
I received the Zaggora Flare Hot Pants to review.  I love how well they work, how comfortable they are to wear and the style of them.  I love the selection Zaggora has out to choose from!  I highly recommend Zaggora!  Be sure to check out Zaggora on Facebook, Twitter and of course their Website!
Zaggora has been nice enough to offer for 3 people to win 1 pair of Zaggora Hot Pants!  To enter to try to win your very own Zaggora Hot Pants use the RaffleCopter below!

Lost Without a Compass!

Wow it seems like forever since I updated my Weight Journey!  Probably because it has been FOREVER!  I have been kind of off track for a while now.  Feel almost like I got lost without a compass to get me back to the right place!  My family and I just moved to a new state and then my husband and I took a week trip to the Bahamas.  Between those two things my Weight Journey has been set aside.
My Hubby and I in the Bahamas!
I am now back and ready to get my butt in gear again.  I am feeling motivated again and hoping to go back to my Weight Journey in full swing!
Starting with small goals again!  My goals for the next week are:
STOP DRINKING SODA AGAIN.....
Try to get moving at least a little everyday
Drink more water
Focus on eating more fruits and veggies again
Think I have located my compass and hoping it helps me get back on track lol! I am looking forward to going back to Weight Watchers here in our new home town.  Should be interesting to meet some new people!
How are all of you doing on your Weight Journeys?
Would love to hear some of the things you have all been doing to help yourself on your Journey!

Weight Journey With Help From Nuun All Day-Product Review and Giveaway!

I started my weight journey a couple months ago.  Two of my biggest goals for my weight journey was to cut soda out of my diet and drink more water.  I drank so much soda in one day it was ridiculous.  I seriously could drink a few 2 liters in a day.  I hate admitting that but it's ok.
Nuun All Day helped me to accomplish both of those goals I listed above.  I found out about Nuun All Day when I was searching online for a healthy substitute for caffeinated beverages!  Nuun All Day says it is a great substitute for soda, juice and caffeine beverages!  At this point I was very interested in trying their product.  Nuun offered for me to do a review and a giveaway!  I was so excited!
The biggest reason I wanted to drop soda from my diet is of course because it is so unhealthy for you.  I constantly felt like I was thirsty all of the time.  My guess is because I NEVER drank water and my body was dehydrated.  Nuun All Day has zero sugar, less than 8 calories per tab and has a blend of 17 vitamins and minerals.  When I drink Nuun All Day I don't feel dehydrated anymore and I actually feel less tired during the day.  It's amazing what can happen when you take care of your body!
Nuun All Day comes in 4 different flavors.  They have Grapefruit Orange, Tangerine Lime, Blueberry Pomegranate and Grape Raspberry!  I received the Tangerine Lime and the Blueberry Pomegranate to try.  The Tangerine Lime flavor took a little time for me to get used to.  It wasn't a bad taste it was just different and I hadn't tried anything with that flavoring before.  Blueberry Pomegranate is amazing!  It's for sure my favorite flavor between those two!  I can't wait to try the Grapefruit Orange flavored one!
So I bet your wondering what exactly Nuun All Day is!  Nuun All Day is a tablet that you put into water and it dissolves!  Easy and tasty!  The tablet does take a little while to dissolve but it's worth the wait!  The tablets come in a little plastic tub and I love that the top closes tightly back on top keeping the tablets fresh!  Nuun also caries other products!
Be sure to check Nuun out on Facebook, Twitter and on their website!
Nuun has been nice enough to offer for one person to win one container of each of the flavors I received to review (Tangerine Lime and the Blueberry Pomegranate).  You can enter using the Rafflecopter below.  Must be 18+ to enter and must live in the US.

Just a Little Push

The last few weeks have been just crazy here.  I feel like I am not accomplishing anything.  I haven't been motivated at all lately.  My kids and I have taken turns being sick.  I didn't make it to Weight Watchers last week because of being sick.  I did get to go last night though.  I lost 1.4 pounds this week.  Not great but I will take it.
My hubby got in an accident this week on his way to work.  He rolled his truck three times.  He is ok thank God but let me tell you that takes a lot out of everyone.  My husband is a little sore and tired but otherwise fine :)  I am whopped lol.  I think because of how emotional it all was for me it just has wore me out!
Anyway I was glad I got to go to Weight Watchers yesterday.  I am really hoping that was the little push I needed to get my butt back in gear.  Has felt like I have been going down hill for a few weeks.
I am really hoping the weather here is Michigan will start getting nicer so I can start taking walks outside.  I love walking outside with my dog and kids.
So my goals right now are just remaining the same:
*Start meal planning
* Get moving again
* Drink more water
*Eat Healthier
I feel like I am starting all over at the beginning of all of this but I guess that is better than just running the other direction and giving up.  Hope you are all doing well on your Journey!

A Rough Week!

*This picture is not mine it's from Here*
Talk about a rough week!  My goodness!  This week has been the hardest since I started my weight journey!  If you have been following my weight journey posts then you know that last week my goal was to get moving/exercise more.  My bad luck defiantly played a factor in that plan!  About a year ago I had surgery done on my foot.  They put a pin in my foot during this surgery.  Well last week Wednesday 2/27/13 I dropped two glass jars of pasta sauce on that foot and the pin moved.  After a trip to the emergency room I ended up in a surgical boot and on crutches again.  Needless to say between the crutches and the pain I have not been moving much.
I have decided I need to set a different goal to try to accomplish this next week because the exercise thing is just not working for me right now.  I know there are still exercises I can do but honestly with being in pain I just don't feel like it.  So my goal for this next week is to try to start planning my dinner meals a head of time. Weight Watchers has reminded me that if I plan my dinners ahead of time I am less likely to make bad decisions at dinner time!  I have always liked making up a dinner menu anyway but for some reason I have slipped away from it so now is the time to start planning ahead again!  Who's with me?
Good news this week is I hit my 10% weight loss goal!  I have lost a total of 18 pounds since starting this weight journey!  Let me tell you it feels amazing!  I still have a ways to go but knowing how well this is working for me it's easy to come up with the determination I know it's gonna take!
The Key chain Weight Watchers gave me for reaching
my 10% goal.
So what are your guys goals this week?  Anyone else have a rough week?  Who is going to try to start meal planning?  Please let me know!  Thank you all for all of the exercise idea's!  Once my foot is doing better I will for sure being trying some of the idea's you all gave me!

Another New Journey!

I have been posting about my Weight Journey for a few weeks now!  Recently spoke with a group of ladies that where wanting to start up a health hop!  I started thinking I should join!  I get such an awesome response from all of you about my journey so I bet you all would enjoy the hop also so you can read even more weight journeys, healthy recipes and health tips!  Plus it means you can join in if you would like!  What gets better than that?
*Picture is not mine it's from Here*
The last two weeks have been a little rough for me.  It's "that time of the month" again.  It's a frustrating time for me with my weight.  I always seem to put on what I call water weight this time of the month.  I was a little stressed that I wouldn't lose weight.  We didn't have a Weight Watchers meeting last week because it got canceled because of really bad weather.  Last night (2/26/13) I went to my Weight Watchers meeting and I was VERY surprised when I weighted in and lost 2.2 pounds.  Sure it's not great seeing how that was my weight loss for 2 weeks but it was a lot better than I thought I was going to do!  I now weight 160.8!  I am hoping next week I will be down in the 150's and that I will hit my 10% goal weight of 18 pounds lost.  I have lost a total of 17.4 pounds so far!  I feel amazing!
*Picture is not mine it's from Here*
I feel I am still struggling with my exercising.  I am hoping I can find the motivation to get moving.  I did start taking little steps to make myself move more.  Little things like parking further away from the door at stores so I have to walk further.  While I'm in the store take an extra lap around before I leave.  This week though I want to try to start riding the exercise bike again and maybe spend some time using the Zumba on the Wii or the Wii fit game.  What do all of you do to get moving more?  Please help me out with some ideas!

A Positive Attitude is EVERYTHING!

Week after week I am surprised how well I am doing at losing weight this time around.  I say this time around because this is not the first time I have tried losing weight.  I have been trying for years and nothing I did seemed to work.  I'd loose like 5 pounds and then I wouldn't be able to lose anymore.  Weight Watchers has taught me not to diet but to live a healthy life style.  Eat the right size portions!

I love feeling like I am succeeding!  I wrote a couple weeks ago about trying on a size nine pair of pants at the mall.  I didn't buy them because I could get them on and button them but they were snug.  I am happy to announce that I went and bought those pants and they now fit perfect!!  It's an awesome feeling when you can walk into a store and just grab a size you think might fit and then it does!  I used to hate shopping for clothes.  I hated grabbing things to try on and them not fitting.  I don't feel that way anymore!

I went to Weight Watchers last week (2/12/13) and weighed in.  I lost 2.2 pounds!  I have to confess that I went in their thinking I was not going to lose ANYTHING!  My husband and I are house shopping right now and I had spent 3 days down in Kentucky and ate out for every meal.  I watched what I ate and made sure not to over stuff myself but I was still concerned.  Well I proved to myself that even when I am eating out I can still lose weight!  This is also a great feeling.  I feel like I am finally understanding what I need to do for myself.

This week (2/19/13) Weight Watchers got canceled due to really bad weather.  It's been snowing like crazy.  My scale is normally off compared to the Weight Watchers scale so I'm going to guess I lost about 1 pound this week.

As I stated earlier we have been house hunting so that is why I was a little behind on my posts for my weight journey!  Want to see a picture of the house we are hoping to purchase?
As exciting as it is to be looking to purchase our first home it's also stressful.  I have been trying hard not to allow the stress to get to me!  I am going to just be excited and not focus on the stress part.  LOL this is easier said than done.

With the crazy snow we have been getting I have not felt very motivated.  I seem to do so much better at exercising when the weather is nice out.  So this week I am going to try to find ways to get myself motivated every day!

I hope that all of you who have started your own weight journeys are succeeding!  I love reading all of your comments!  They motivate me!

A New Attitude!

It's been about 4 weeks since I started trying to lose weight!  I am happy to announce that this week I lost 1 lb. 6 oz.!  I weighted in yesterday (2/5/13).  I have lost a total of 13 pounds!  I am so excited!  I will be going to get some new clothes soon because my pants are getting really big on me!  That is truly an amazing feeling.
Can you guess what I like even more than losing weight?  I like losing inches!  The inches I have lost so far are as follows:
Bust:-1.5 inches
Waist-2 inches
Belly (under belly button)-2 inches
Hips-1/2 inch
Thigh-1 inch
Arm-1/2 inch
I love measuring monthly because it seems even if my weight doesn't always change I am normally still losing inches!
My favorite meal this week was a crescent pizza!  It was so easy to make and I was really surprised that it didn't take up all of my Weight Watchers points!

                                             Crescent Pizza
Crescent Pizza!

What you need:
1 can (8 crescents) regular crescents
1 can (8 crescents) garlic crescents *new*
Pizza Sauce
Turkey Pepperoni
Mozzarella Cheese
*Any other toppings you want*
Directions:
Get a cookie sheet.  You need to roll out one regular crescent roll flat.  Add a small amount of pizza sauce on it then put a light amount of cheese on it and your pepperoni and any other toppings.  Next take a garlic crescent roll and lay it flat.  Add a little pizza sauce to it and then lay it on top of the regular crescent roll with the pizza sauce facing the toppings!  Bake according to the package!  Then enjoy!
One of my salads from last week
This week I am going to work on eating more fruits and veggies again because I didn't do real great at it this last week.  I have always been a salad person but this week salad is going to be my best friend!
Overall I am very happy with this last week!  My family is into football.  We had a Super Bowl party and my son's birthday party last weekend (2/3/13).  I was afraid that with having parties I would not lose any weight.  I actually thought I'd end up gaining.  I am very happy with myself this week!

I love all the encouragement and comments I am getting on these posts from all of you!  It is very encouraging!  I received to products in this mail that pertain to losing weight that I am going to be doing product reviews on!  Keep an eye for the reviews and giveaways that will be coming up!

A Happy Place!

If you have been following my Weight Journey you know that last week was rough for me!  I am here to tell you that with the help of my amazing husband, family and all of you I was able to get myself back on a roll.  At first with gaining .8 oz I was very upset.  Honestly wanted to cry!  After hearing so many people say so many things about that .8 I realized that not one person thought I had failed like I was seeing it in my own mind.  I decided to just continue doing what I had been doing.
Picture is not mine it's from the Biggest Looser Facebook Page!
I weighed in yesterday 1/29/13 and I lost 4 pounds 2 oz.  It felt just as good as losing 8 pounds my very first week!  I feel refreshed and determined that I can do this!  I deserve this!  I now weigh 166.8 and let me tell you it has been a LONG time since I was under 170.  It feels amazing!  I reached my 5% goal for Weight Watcher which was to lose 9 lbs.  Now I am working toward my 10% goal which is to lose 18 lbs.  I cannot remember if I told all of you that my personal goal for myself is to reach a weight of 150.  It's getting so close I can actually taste it!  I will plan a new goal for myself once I reach the 150 but for now I'm going to just enjoy being under 170!
My husband is like my personal "cheerleader".  He is so supportive and always seems to say the perfect things.  He asked me to go get my ring finger sized because I think he's going to get me a new ring!  The wedding ring I have is broke :(  Anyway my ring finger went from being a size 10 a month ago to a 8.5 this month!  I went to Deb's to try on some pants because the ones I have now are starting to fall off!!  The pants I have now are a size 11.  I was able to get a size 9 on and zipped and buckled but they were just a little tight.  So I am hoping in the next couple weeks I can go back and buy that size 9!
I found a lunch that I just love!  I love taking whole grain rice, a sliver of Weight Watchers White cheddar cheese and adding some salsa to it!  It tastes amazing with the cheese melted into the rice and topped with salsa!  Wish I had a picture to show you all but I don't!
I received my first product to review for this portion of my blog so be sure to stay tuned to see what it is and what I think of it!
My personal goals for this week are:
1. Get back to eating more fruits and veggies again
Picture is not mine it's from Here
2. Start exercising again now that I am starting to feel better
3. Start drinking more water
Picture is not mine it's from Here
Check back soon for more updates!  I love hearing from you all!  I feel like I have the world's biggest support system!  Thank you all for your amazing words of encouragement!

A Hard Week!

I want to start by saying I love seeing all the comments everyone is leaving on my weight journey posts!  I weighed in at Weight Watcher again this week on 1/22/13.  My mom and I had a hard time getting to Weight Watchers this week because we have been getting dumped on with snow.  We did make it to Weight Watchers though.
This was after 1 day of snow!  It's been snowing for about 3 days!

This last week has been really rough for me between being sick and having a period for the first time in almost 3 years.  (I know that's probably too much info but it's been a rough week.  I have an IUD birth control that has made me not have a period in almost 3 years tell this month.)  My whole body feels completely wacko!  I hate to have to admit this but at this week's weigh in i gained 0.8 ounces.  I'm really hoping it is just because my body is so messed up from being sick and of course my period.  Regardless of why I gained I felt like crying my eyes out.  I felt like a failure after losing 8 pounds last week.
My habits have changed a little with being sick.  I have mostly been eating soup and drinking a lot of fluids!  I have not been able to really work out much this week.  I have still been eating in my point range every day so that's good!  I am really hoping I get feeling better really soon so I can get my motivation back!
Anyway I'm trying to just let this week blow over.  I know I'm going to have good and bad weeks so I should just let it go and not let it get me down.  Easier said than done.

This is the plan I set up for myself 1/8/13:
*Started Weight Watchers
*I try to do some type of workout every day (big or small)
*Drink more water
*Drink less soda
*Tell others what I'm doing

So far this plan is going pretty good.  I'm sticking to Weight Watchers and until I got sick I was doing a workout every day.  I have been drinking a ton more water than I used to!  I have not had ANY regular or diet soda since 1/15/13!  If I start getting a craving for soda I have been drinking flavored carbonated water!  This has worked really well for me!

I am thinking of going out to eat for the first real time since starting my weight journey!  Please wish me luck! I know for me it's always a test to go out to eat when I'm trying to lose weight!  I will be back to update again soon!

A Little Over a Week!

The first week was great!  I truly love doing Weight Watchers I don't ever feel like i'm starving and I can eat what I want with in my point range.  I would have to say in my opinion I've never been an "unhealthy eater" I just ate to large of portions.  I figured out in the first week of Weight Watchers that portion control is everything and it's actually pretty easy!  Measuring cups, Measuring spoons and a food scale are now my new best friends!
The first week 1/8/13-1/15/13 was easy!  I started using my Tummy Tuck again every day and riding a stationary bike for 1 mile a day.  Riding the stationary bike for 1 mile takes me about 7 minutes.  I am hoping to work up to a mile and a half next week.  The way I see it doing something is better than nothing!
I bet you are wondering what I lost in my first week!  I lost 8 pound from 1/8/13-1/15/13!  I was so surprised and happy!  Honestly it's nice to go weigh in at weight watchers once a week because on the 15th I was starting to loose energy.  Finding out that it was actually working and that I was actually losing weight gave me that push and excitement I needed to continue!
I will be weighing in again this Tuesday the 22nd.  I am hoping that I have continued to lose.  The last few days have been rough because I'm not feeling well so I don't have energy to work out.  What an excuse right?  Ugh so frustrating.  I will get it maybe I'll just have to ride my bike for a half mile two times a day tell I get better.  I have a horrible cough and it's hard to breathe so I need to figure out how to go about working out while sick.
I have been eating a lot more fruits and veggies then I used to.  I mean I always eat fruits and veggie but I eat way more now than before.  This week I had pork loin, baked potato, salad and sautéed veggies in extra virgin olive oil for dinner one night!  It was absolutely my favorite dinner this week!
Don't my sautéed veggie look amazing?
I want to let all my fans know I have some great product reviews for exercising and losing weight coming up for all of you!  I am hoping that if I can inspire even one person to start their own weight journey then me putting it all out on the line is worth every minute of my time.  I want you all to know about products that I think are good for losing weight and exercising.  So please stay tuned for more posts about my journey and some reviews and giveaways!

A New Adventure!

I recently decided that I have had enough of being overweight.  I want to give you all a little background information on myself.  I will be 25 this year.  I used to be a very motivated and athletic person.  When I graduated from High School I slowed way down.  I have two beautiful kids!  I have a daughter who is almost 6 and a son who is almost 4.  My kids keep me busy but other than that I don't "exercise".  I do go for walks when the weather is nice but other than that don't really exercise.
This is me right now
I wouldn't say that I decide to make losing weight my New Year's Resolution.  I just finally decided that I deserve to feel better than what I do and that my husband and kids deserve someone who takes care of her body.  So once I made the decision to start losing weight and exercising I decided I needed to come up with a plan to help me succeed.

My plan:
*I started Weight Watcher on 1/8/13
*I try to do some type of workout every day (big or small)
*Drink more water
*Drink less soda
*Tell others what I'm doing
That is my starting plan.  I plan to add new things to it as often as possible.  So your probably asking why is she writing about this on her blog?  I decided a great way to keep myself motivated would be to tell other people what I am doing!  I figure if others know what I am doing and I know they will ask how I am doing I won't want to fail.  I won't want to have to get on here and tell you all I failed.  I believe it is going to help me a lot.  As much as I love it right now I know I will have tough days ahead!
I am working on contacting companies to do reviews on products that have to do with exercising or losing weight!  I think it will be awesome to not only post about my weight journey but also try out new products to share with all of you!
Alright so I'm putting it all out on the line.  My starting weight as of 1/8/13 is 178.2.
Please stop by and ask me question, tell me things that have helped you and if you want join in on losing weight!  Just use the comments section!
