SteriShoe Review and Giveaway!

 

My husband has the smelliest shoes/boots ever!  I have always been one to throw our shoes/boots into the washing machine in hopes of getting rid of the smell.  Instead the smell would stay and the shoes would not fit the same anymore. 

 

I ran across SteriShoe and I was excited and a little skeptical on trying it out!  So what is SteriShoe you ask?

The SteriShoe sanitizer destroys microorganisms in shoes with its germicidal UVC lamp. UVC has been used as a germicide for decades in hospitals and water treatment systems. We often hear about UVA and UVB; this is the wavelength of light that gives us suntans and sunburns. UVC is completely filtered by our atmosphere and that is why we do not hear about it often. However, within scientific communities and medical communities, UVC's ability to destroy microorganisms is well known and established.

UVC works when microorganisms are directly exposed to UVC light. Plastic blocks UVC from reaching the microorganism. Unlike an "As Seen On TV" product that claims to use UV inside a shoe, the SteriShoe sanitizer's UVC light effectively treats the inside of a shoe because it is not blocked by plastic.

 

 

So I put SteriShoe to the test.  It was so easy to use I was very surprised!  You simply put the SteriShoe in the shoes or boot you want to treat!  Plug it in and put it in the SteriShoe bags!  Push the on button it treats the shoes/boots for about 45minutes and then presto!  They are done!  Plus SteriShoe comes with everything you need to do the treatment!

 

Wanting to make sure SteriShoe really works I made my husband smell his boots (lol) before I went to treat them.  Sadly I didn't need to make him smell them because as I was getting them prepared for the SteriShoe treatment I could smell them just fine without my nose right in the shoe! (lol) EWWW! 

 

I treated his work boots and I was surprised to find the SteriShoe really did work.  It probably eliminated about 40% of the smell.  Since my husband's boots are OLD I figured I'd try a second SteriShoe treatment on them.  Once the second treatment was done I would say about 60% of the smell was gone!  My husband and I where both amazed!  I will be continuing to use the SteriShoe!  The great thing was when I went to order it I was worried that SteriShoe wouldn't carry the size I would need for my husband.  He wears size 13 shoes/boots.... surprisingly enough they had his size!  I was so happy!

 

The only thing I regret is not having the SteriShoe in my household sooner!  Especially when my husband was in the Army!  It would have been a life saver!  I highly recommend SteriShoe!
